HEALTH & SAFETY
Safety is our top priority and you’re the reason why we do what we do!
We recognize this is a challenging time around the world and here at home in the United States. Knowing that you might have concerns, especially about our upcoming events, the Nike Youth Classic – May 16-17 and the Asics Junior National Volleyball Championships – June 12-16, we want to reinforce that the health and safety of our athletes, spectators, event workers as well as those of our employees are at the heart of everything we do at the Midwest Junior Volleyball Association. As we continue to learn more about the risks of COVID-19 (also known as the Coronavirus), we remain committed to ensuring your experience, from booking to arrival and competing, is safe and comfortable.
Like many others, our team is closely monitoring guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other local and national health organizations. We continue to receive the most up-to-the-minute information and will continually evaluate the situation.
At this time, our events remain on their regular schedule.
We will continue to work closely with public health agencies and the government to implement additional prevention measures as the situation evolves. We appreciate your understanding that we’re doing everything we can to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
We take our responsibility to the community and the volleyball family seriously and we will continue to work in partnership with government authorities and update you as soon as possible if the situation requires us to make additional changes.
